At Dr. Naji Louis Family Dentistry, the technology we use informs us about any oral health condition that you may have. Our dentists use digital and panoramic X-rays to get a closer look at what's going on below your gum line and in other places that may be difficult to see.
With the screens we have available in our treatment rooms, your dentist can show you your scans. This allows them to easily explain the results and show you how a customized treatment plan may be able to help.

Digital X-Rays
Using digital sensors instead of traditional photographic film, digital X-rays produce a highly detailed computer image of your teeth, gums and other oral structures that may be difficult to see otherwise. Additionally, digital X-rays expose you to significantly less radiation than traditional X-rays.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic X-rays allow your dentist to create a single flat image of your entire mouth, including your teeth, upper and lower jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and the nasal and sinus structures. Panoramic X-rays are often used to help plan treatments for dentures, extractions and dental implants.
